Pokkén Tournament Comes to Wii U in Spring 2016; Includes Shadow Mewtwo amiibo Card

As the Tekken franchise is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, the arcade-based fighting game already had a unique crossover with Pokemon in Pokken Tournament, and now Wii U owners will get to join the rumble with the game’s console release next year.

Nintendo revealed during its Nintendo Direct broadcast today that Pokken Tournament will head over to the Wii U in Spring 2016, with the game set to also include a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card with packages of the game.

Pokken Tournament is currently available in arcades, with the Wii U version of the game to release in Spring 2016 – in the meantime, you can check out a trailer of the game from today’s Direct below:
