Poll: Would Dedicated Servers Get You To Subscribe to Call of Duty Elite?

on August 8, 2012 12:55 PM

After last night’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 leak was published,  some readers called shenanigans and based their reaction mostly on the mention of dedicated servers. Since the original Modern Warfare, I don’t think there’s been a more sought after feature. Things have changed since 2007, and subscription/bonus service Call of Duty: Elite has since been created.

Now, I don’t have any hard numbers to base this on but I do have enough experience to know that usually when services and subscriptions are doing well, companies like nothing more than to show off how many people they have subscribing to their service. That has not been the case with Elite and it’s been a while since we’ve heard any hard subscriber numbers from Activision. Would that change if dedicated servers were to be provided for subscribers?

With that said, and provided that the information from the leak is true, does the luxury of dedicated servers get you to subscribe to Call of Duty Elite?
