Popular Mascot Super Sonico Will Get Two Games for PS3 and 3DS in 2014

Nitroplus announced today that its massively popular (at least in Japan) mascot character Super Sonico will appear in two games in 2014.

Most possibly you don’t know who Super Sonico is, but  you probably saw her quite a bit if you visit websites focusing on Japan or maybe watching a trailer of Namco Bandai’s Super Heroine Chronicle. She’s the mascot character of Nitroplus’ yearly music festival, and Japanese gamers love her. She also has every kind of merchandise you could think of, from action figures to body pillows.

The first game will be titled “Motto! Sonicomi” (More! Sonicomi) and will be a remake for PS3 of the 2011 PC visual novel Sonicomi, with redesigned graphics and adjusted gameplay.

The second is a 3DS rhythm game developed by Imageepoch titled “Sonipro.” It will be released in winter 2014.

Below you can see the trailer of the 3DS game showcasing a catchy song, plenty costume changes and the obligatory breast jiggle (considering that Super Sonico’s generously sized bosom has always been one of her most popular features between fans). At the bottom of the post I also added Sonicomi’s opening clip for reference.
