Post-Launch DLCs for Final Fantasy XIII-2 Detailed

on October 3, 2011 9:15 AM

Square Enix disclosed today in a press release some of the downloadable contents that will be available for Final Fantasy XIII-2 post launch (during the months of December and January).

The DLCs will entail new costumes for both Serah and Noel. In addition to this Omega, a classic boss monster of the Final Fantasy series will also be part of the available content. When defeated it will drop it’s crystals and will then be usable as a companion.

The DLCs announced today are confirmed, for now, only for the Japanese market. Details about the Western market will be released at a later date. The same can be said about screenshots and information on pricing.

There will also be more downloadable content announced in the next few months.

Edit: Square Enix announced that Omega will be included as a preorder bonus at Amazon, while Serah’s costume will go to those preordering at Gamestop. Nothing is known about preorder bonuses or DLCs in Europe at the moment, nor if the preorder bonuses will also be available as DLCs at a later date.
