PQube Answers Why Gal*Gun’s $90 DLC is Available in North America and Not Europe

PQube answered a question about the DLC offered for the Inti Creates developed rail-shooter Gal*Gun: Double Peace, out now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

A quick look at the North American PlayStation Store will show that Gal*Gun: Double Peace owners can purchase a $90 DLC titled “Pheromone Z”. Evidently, the publisher replied to a question on Twitter that Sony Europe wasn’t happy about the high priced DLC, but Sony America was. Whether it was the price or the content that made Sony Europe unhappy wasn’t explained.

The DLC’s description reads:

Adds ‘Pheromone Z’ item to the Academy Store. Upon purchase, the sight zoom can see through clothes instantly.

For gamers upset about the high price, it’s good to mention that the Japanese market received the same DLC at the same price. After speaking with Inti Creates’ Matt Papa, we were told that the DLC was more of a joke and wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. It’s there for those who want it, but the company doesn’t expect to sell a large amount of the DLC.
