Focus Home Interactive and Eugen Systems recently announced that their upcoming RTS Wargame Red Dragon multiplayer beta would be coming to Steam via the Early Access Program, and today that day has arrived. For anyone who has already pre-ordered the game (or does so from here on), the game will be available to play until Wargame Red Dragon launches in a month.

Even with just a few weeks to go, Eugen plans to release content regularly until the game's launch, like new maps, new features (like the new dynamic campaign system), new naval units and warships, and more.

As previously announced, loyal fans of the series who purchased Wargame Airland Battle will receive 25% off the game on Steam from the regular $39.99 pricetag. Prospective players can purchase the game via Steam (especially for the discount) or via the game's website.

Wargame Red Dragon is the follow up to Wargame: European Escalation and Wargame: Airland Battle, a series that combines real-time strategy with alternate history Cold War. Eugen Systems’ Wargame Red Dragon will be taking players to Asian shores with units based on real vehicles, with combat centering around a range of units for air, ground and naval battles.

Wargame Red Dragon will include multiplayer with up to 20 simultaneous players, set to release on PC during the second quarter of 2014, and will be optimized for smartphones and tablets upon its launch on mobile devices.
