Price of PS4 Camera increased by Ten Bucks by GameStop

The PlayStation Camera for the PS4 has been fairly rare since its release, and it’s currently sold out on Amazon, Sony’s own online store and on quite a few other retailers. Apparently GameStop saw a chance for further profit, as the price has been increased from the MSRP of $59.99 to $69.99.

You can see the listing here. You can’t purchase it, mind you, as GameStop itself ran out of stock as well.

We currently don’t know if the camera’s rarity is more a matter of low production or high demand (even if it seems it’s very popular to play¬†Just Dance and to stream with Playroom), but if you want one at the old price, I guess you can pass the border and buy one at GameStop’s sister chain EB Games, that still lists it at the normal price.
