Project Cars 2 will release sometime during fall 2017 according to developer Slightly Mad Studios.

The news comes via a forum post by CEO Ian Bell who specifically said the following when addressing the sequel's release schedule:

"It's still a very tight run as we're a bit behind on GUI and Career so nothing is set in stone yet. Current guess is Septemberish."

Via another forum post, Bell revealed that none of the famous car brands are missing from this game. As you may recall, car brands such as Porsche and Lamborghini were missing from the previous game, and were the cause of some minor disappointment for some fans.

Project Cars 2 -- which was announced back in June 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC -- is being crowdfunded and developed in co-occurrence with the community, similarly to the first game in the series.
