Project Morpheus for PS4 Gets Renamed to PlayStation VR

on September 15, 2015 4:15 AM

During its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, Sony Computer Entertainment announced the official name of Project Morpheus.

As some might have expected, the new name is quite simple: PlayStation VR.

While the new name might lose some of the old mysterious charm, it’s probably a much easier sell to the general public.

After all mystery isn’t normally very good for marketing, at least not when you actually have to sell something. And we’re finally getting close to that point.

Below, you can see the new trailer.
