Project Phoenix Overtakes its Fourth Kickstarter Stretch Goal with Over $800,000 Pledged

As the indie JRPG Project Phoenix enters the final stretch of its Kickstarter cavalcade with only three days to go, the total amount pledged just overtook $800,000. The game has now  gathered $782,362 on Kickstarter itself and $20,859 via PayPal, bringing the total to $803,221.

This unlocks the fourth stretch goal, that will bring an exclusive A4 poster to backers from Treasure Hunter and up, and a digital version of said poster for those that pledged for a Digital Collector’s Edition.

While this specific goal may sound a tad underwhelming, there are only $225,000 left to go to unlock the real juicy one, as $1,025,000 will bring a fully explorable overworld, an upgraded combat transition and the chance to “fight inside the Kraken”.

Considering that most Kickstarter projects see a large influx of pledges in the last day or two, that goal is definitely in reach. If you want to help, you can do so by pledging on the official Kickstarter page of the project.
