Project Phoenix Will Get the Figurine Treatment Thanks to Partnership with Good Smile

The Kickstarter JRPG Project Phoenix is continuing its flight towards the goal that is now just 66 hours away, with $822,563 gathered at the moment of this writing between Kickstarter and PayPal. And the news keep pouring in.

Today Creative Intelligence Arts announced that it partnered with the popular Japanese figurine manufacturer Good Smile for the creation of two figures reproducing the beautiful elf Sylrianah (portrayed below).

One will be a standard edition, made with Good Smile’s usual attention to quality, while the other will be a limited edition differing in the following ways:

  • Clothing color that will be different from the normal version and will be designed by the game’s Art Supervisor.
  • An elven knife accessory.
  • Different packaging, complete with a serial number and a Certificate of Authenticity.
  • It’ll be released months before the standard edition.

That’s a quite rare occurrence for a Kickstarter game. Hopefully it’ll encourage more to pledge in order to reach the juicy $1,025,000 stretch goal in time. If you want to help, you can do so 0n the official Kickstarter page.
