Project Spark, the “game-maker” video game by Team Dakota will launch this October, Microsoft Studios announced today. The final version of the creation tool is planned to release on October 7 in the North America, October 9 in Asia-Pacific countries and October 10 in Europe and it will be available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A closed beta of the game was available last December for PC, following up with a beta for Xbox One owners.
The game went through a few changes during it’s beta phases, such as the Spark Time” microtransactions. The Xbox One disc version, which will be called “Project Spark Starter Pack” will include a load of DLC content such as the first sci-fi pack “Galaxies: First Contact,” the warrior champion Sir Haakon “Hawk” the Knight, “Champions Quest: Void Storm,” the first episode of an epic campaign adventure, and much more. All the content included in the “Project Spark Starter Pack” will also be available digitally for Xbox One and Windows 8.1 when Project Spark releases.
