Proun Releases June 24th as a Pay-What-You-Want Title

A couple months ago I reported on the existence of Proun, a six-year-in-development racing title developed by Joost Van Dongen (seriously, DAT NAME), with hopes that it’d come out fairly soon.

Well, it’s taken longer than expected, but we finally have a release date: June 24th. Not only that, but Van Dongen has announced on his blog that it’ll be the shiny price of “pay-what-you-want”. That includes downloading it for free, if you’re a shameless leech broke journalist/student.

Proun looks striking, beautiful, and just all kinds of weird, so you better believe we’ll have a review of that up when it comes out.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
