PS Vita Passes 4,000,000 Units Sold to Customers in Japan

While the PS Vita isn’t exactly selling like hotcakes in the west, it’s definitely moving rather well in its Japanese home turf.

Today’s Media Create charts combined with historical data, confirm that the console has sold over 4,000,000 units in Japan.

To be more precise, 4.000.728 units of Sony’s portable console have found a loving Japanese home.

With this kind of local installed base, it’s not surprising that local developers often tend to sneak in a PS Vita version alongside the PS4 one for their new games. It’s definitely a good way to keep sales up.
