With mere days before its release on the PlayStation Vita, Island's opening cinematic has been shown off alongside multiple new screenshots.

The cinematic opening shows the protagonist washing up on the shore of an island and findings himself in the company of three heroines. The opening also presents the game's main theme "Travelers Tale" composed by Junpei Fujita and performed by Riya .

The screenshots also provide a glimpse of what the player can expect from the visual novel, including one screenshot that can't help but feel out of place in-between all the pictures of the night sky, beaches and anime girls, try to guess which one I'm talking about.

Both the opening cinematic and screenshots can be viewed below.

Island is developed by Frontwing and is set to release on the PS Vita on February 23. A western release has been announced though no specific date has been give just yet.
