PS3 owners get the short end of the stick again with Dragon Age: Origins.  A few months ago EA said the PS3 version was going to be delayed to "late November".  Now they finally speak up and give us a solid release date - November 17, 2009.  This is two weeks after the PC and Xbox 360 versions ship.  Look at the bright side, at least all platforms - including the PS3 - will be getting DLC for it, unlike some other games.  For that matter, thank the Bioware gods you're even getting this title at all - their last big RPG, Mass Effect, never saw the light of day on the PS3 and it's questionable whether its sequel will.

In the meantime, you can go play the Dragon Age: Journeys and earn yourself some in-game loot when the game does finally ship.

UPDATE: This should apparently be relegated to "rumor" status, and debunked, at that.  The official release date has now been moved to November 3, along with the rest of the platform versions.  See our more recent post on the subject.
