PS3 Getting Bravia Link

on January 16, 2010 5:43 AM

In a recent interview by Sony Insider’s with Sony’s COO, Stan Glasgow, it was mentioned that the PS3 will be receiving Bravia Link. The plan of attack is that the current PS3’s video streaming capabilities will be merged with Bravia Link. One of the key features of Bravia Link is the native Netflix streaming capabilities. What this means for PS3 owners is that they will no longer have to use the Instant Watch disc. Not only will owners not have to bust out the Instant Watch disc, but this will open the proverbial flood gates of widgets. A few possibilities are: AmazonHD on Demand, Sports, YouTube, maybe even Skype! Needless to say, this is quite an exciting announcement and 2010 continues to look like the year of the PS3.

Currently going to school in Indiana so when Drew isn't studying, you can find him playing games. Though he is typically playing games from this current generation, he'll still bust out classic consoles for a night of nostalgic gaming. If he is not studying or gaming, he is usually out working on his photography. Thinks sleep is for the weak. Favorite Games: Metal Gear Solid, Mega Man 2, Goldeneye
