Square Enix just announced that the PS3 version of Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness will be delayed in Japan by about a month to April 28th.

On the other hand, the PS4 version will not be delayed, and will retain a launch date on March 31st.

The reason for the delay has been explained with efforts to optimize the game on the hardware and further improve quality.

This morning and last week we saw a comparisons between the two versions, and obviously the game looks and runs a lot better on Sony's newer console.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness will not release at for PS3 in the west, where it will be launched exclusively for PS4 this year.
