While Sony is going to put the #00001 up for auction, there's another PS4 20th Anniversary edition that comes with a rather special number for collectors, and that's the #4444, considering the identity with the console's name.

If you want it, you're going to have to go to Japan, as the manager of the popular Tokyo-based indie game store Games Ma-Ya, announced that she got her hands on the coveted console, and that she's going to raffle it on January 23 over two blog posts (one, two).

According to her #4444 was chosen because "4" means "happiness," for the 4 of PlayStation 4, and because her wedding anniversary is on April 4th.

If you want to see #4444 before it finds a home, you'll find it on display at Games Ma-Ya in the Edogawa district in Tokyo.

In you want to get one closer to home, the many 20th anniversary models are being offered on auction both in the west and in Japan, normally going for over $1,000 and often above $1,200, which is quite the mark-up compared to the initial sale price. You can find several examples on ebay or on Yahoo Auctions.
