on March 30, 2014 7:23 AM

Koei Tecmo released today a batch of screenshots of Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate (the updated version of Warriors Orochi 3), that has been released for PS3 and PS Vita in september (in Japan) and will hit the shelves for PS4 on June 26th.

The screenshots have the purpose to showcase the difference between the PS4 version and the PS3 version, possibly to encourage users to make the jump, but unfortunately they don’t look all that encouraging. You can check them out below. The third picture of each batch is an animated GIF to help you spot the differences. You need to click on it to start the animation.

According to the publisher, the game has a significantly increased number of enemies on screen on PS4, better textures, more details, better foliage and improved lighting. Streaming with audience interaction will also be supported.

I guess it’s a good thing that the Musou series has never been about groundbreaking graphics…
