PS4 Outsells Xbox One in May in the US, Reversing April’s NPD Result

on June 11, 2015 5:31 PM

In April the Xbox One pulled a surprise win in the United States, leaving the PS4 behind for a month.

Looks like things have reversed again, according to a press release from Sony Computer Entertainment citing NPD figures. According to the announcement, the PS4 was leader both for hardware and software sales, and (rather obviously) retains its place as cumulative sales leader in the United States.

With the E3 battle coming in just a few days, it’ll be interesting to see who will win June, but we’ll have to wait for mid-July to know.
