During a livestream on Nico Nico, Sony Computer Entertainment showcased the creation of the procedurally generated chalice dungeons in Bloodborne, introduced by Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa.
In the video, which you can see below, Yamagiwa-san shows how we can perform the ritual to create a chalice dungeon by activating a chalice and using a number of required ingredients. Some of the options are grayed out in the video because the PS4 isn’t connected to the net.
Unfortunately, the quality of the video is rather bad due to Nico Nico’s extreme compression. Also, forgive the watermark, but I’m in a hotel room with an old laptop, and that’s all I could muster for recording.
In addition to that, Sony also published a new screenshot (among a few ones we already saw). The mechanic was explained during the livestream, as Yamagiwa-san explained that we can add gestures to memoirs, and in this case it’s set to indicate a direction.
