You’ve seen copies that broke the street date of Bloodborne flaunted and waved all over the internet like battle flags, and you’ve envied their owners.
Reviewers received their review codes and they’ve started passing their judgement, even if quite a few decided to hold out for a little while longer.
And now, at least if you live in North America, it’s finally your turn. Bloodborne has been unlocked for everyone in the region, and you can finally see how you match against From Software’s new and terrifying beast.
Unfortunately, if you’re in Europe, you have to wait one day longer, while British gamers will be tortured until the 27th. If you’re Japanese, you’ll get the game on Thursday.
If you’re waiting to read DualShockers’ review, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. While the embargo has been lifted, we got our review copy late, and we don’t rush reviews out of the door just to meet an arbitrary date. Bloodborne is a big and challenging game, and I can definitely go out on a limb and say that it’s good enough to deserve more time, which it’ll get.
Yet, I’m sure that many of you are already slaughtering monsters (or more likely, being slaughtered by them) as I write, without really caring much for reviews, scores, and the personal judgement of this or that critic, forming your own opinion, which is exactly how it should be.
