PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Sold Out in Many Stores in Tokyo; Check Out Sony’s Japanese Launch Party

Japanese gamers had to wait a couple of days longer than North American ones to grab their copy of Bloodborne, but looks like they haven’t wasted too much time as soon as it has become available, as mentioned by SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida.

The folks at Sony and From Software can finally relax for a job well done, and they celebrated the launch of the game with a party, some pictures of which have been shared by Producer Masami Yamamoto:

Preparations for the launch are proceeding steadily…

Cute fellows and Allan Becker! (Director of SCE Japan Studio)

And at last Yoshida-san appears!

Miyazaki-san does a Kagami Biraki of blood! (it’s actually wine)

Note: “Kagami Biraki” is the traditional opening of a casket of sake during a celebration.

The newcomers are introduced to Morita-san (SCEJA President) and Yoshida-san during the clebration.

Everything is accomplished. Everyone is full of pride for the launch. Really, thanks to everyone involved. Here’s Miyazaki-san’s last speech. Everything was wonderful, but one point stroke home: “You haven’t seen our top speed yet.” That was too cool.

Considering the reception the game is getting, Sony definitely seem to have good reasons to celebrate.

Next week we’ll start getting the first results on the game’s sales performance, but so far so good. Kanpai!
