PS4 exclusive Driveclub is improving more and more as time passes and new patches are released, and there’s more coming. Game Director Paul Rustchynsky explained on Twitter that one of the most inconvenient elements of Photo Mode will be addressed in a future update. When that will happen, we’ll finally be able to pan around even after hiding the camera menu. Currently when the UI is hidden you can’t move the camera around, and that’s quite awkward for small, last-minute adjustments.
Rustchynsky also explained that the folks at the US PlayStation store made a mistake, not including one of the livery packs in the season pass. If you find a livery pack with a price tag despite the fact that you have the season pass (I know I did), don’t buy it, and wait for the next store update, as the problem will be fixed.
We then learn why the Ferrari 599 XX EVO is available only for online gameplay. According to Rustchynsky, it’s due to licensing reasons.
Finally, he categorically denied that photo mode swaps the models of the cars off with higher quality ones.
