PS4 Exclusive Driveclub Will Get New Cars, Bikes and More in March; “Something” Will Be Free

on March 8, 2016 4:09 PM

It’s that time of the month again, and details are starting to appear about March’s update and new content coming to Driveclub, by way of the game’s official account and Director Paul Rustchynsky.

First of all, Drift Mode will be revamped, rewarding fast and precise drifting.

In view of the new rules, the drift leaderboards will be wiped.

Rustchynsky explained the inclusion of new penalties with the necessity to create a fair and balanced set of rules harder to exploit.

The game will also get a revamp of its UI with more user-created pictures.

The update will also bring plenty new levels to unlock:

The new expansions coming this month will ionclude new cars and bikes. Rustchynsky did not mention whether any of them will be free, but “something” will be.

Interestingly, one of the cars in the new update will be the fastest in the game, possibly pointing to the 255 mph monster Koenigsegg Regera.

Incidentally, Rustchynsky explained that there are no plans for a new season pass at the moment.

One thing is for sure: Driveclub may not be a “gift,” but it sure keeps on giving.
