Today Polyphony Digital and Sony Interactive Entertainment released an update to the Gran Turismo Sport beta, and it's a big one, at least in file size.

The update requires a whopping 9.783 gigabytes download, and it includes the following:

  • Updated game physics.
  • Updated force feedback.
  • Corrected the sportsmanship rating judgement display.
  • Quick options added to the Pause Menu.
  • Fixed certain bugs.

While there are the official patch notes, there are more undocumented changes, which is normal for a beta. For instance, now the number of races through the day has been massively increased, alongside new chase camera option, and updates to the Dragon Trail track has been updated.

If you want to see more, you can check out the lovely Porsche trailer, and a batch of screenshots.

Gran Turismo Sport will be released exclusively for PS4 within the year, even if Sony Interactive Entertainment didn’t share a final release date just yet.
