PS4 Exclusive Ni No Kuni II Is a “Huge Improvement” Over the First; Has “Deeper Stories”

During Sony’s livestream from PlayStation Experience, a video was showcased featuring Level-5 President Akihiro Hino as he talks about the newly announced Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

Hino-san mentions that despite the fact that the game has several typically Japanese themes, he’s confident that fans worldwide will be able to enjoy its world.

Level-5 was inspired to create a sequel by their love for the first Ni No Kuni and looking the game’s progress, Hino-san feels that the new game is a “huge improvement” over its predecessor.

The studio is taking on a lot more challenges than before, and creating new features, fulfilling the ambitions they had after completing the first game.

Hino-san aso mentions that we’ll see deeper stories and dramatic sequences that we wouldn’t have expected from the first game.
