PS4 Exclusive NieR: Automata’s Director Would Like Scalebound Director Hideki Kamiya’s Advice

While the upcoming PS4 exclusive NieR: Automata is developed by PlatinumGames, studio front man Hideki Kamiya isn’t involved directly in the game’s production, spearheaded by Takahisa Taura.

Kamiya-san is currently working on the Xbox One exclusive Scalebound, which is incidentally another action RPG, and Famitsu asked  NieR: Automata Director Taro Yoko if him and Kamiya-san have had a chance to talk about each other’s games.

Yoko-san responded that they didn’t have a chance yet, but he’d like in the future to be able to say that he “received that Kamiya-san’s advice” and his seal of approval.

Incidentally, the two developers are having quite a few funny exchanges on Twitter, like the one below.

Can’t say I wouldn’t like to take a peek at Kamiya-san and Yoko-san discussing their games over drinks. I’m definitely over eighteen, anyway.
