Following yesterday's reveal at EVO 2017 of its still untitled successor of the Street Fighter EX series, developer Arika released a large batch of full-resolution screenshots.

The screenshots showcase the already revealed characters, who come straight from the earlier chapters of Street Fighter EX.  Shirase, Skullomania, Garuda, Darun Mister and Kairi.

Interestingly, the UI still has Shirase named with her original Street Fighter EX name "Hokuto." To be more precise, though, Shirase is her real name. Hokuto is a pseudonym she took to hide her true identity.

The Street Fighter EX series was a spin-off of the Street Fighter franchise created by Arika and co-developed with Capcom during the glorious golden age of fighting games. The first game launched in Japanese arcades in 1996 and on the original PlayStation one year later. Street Fighter EX2 was relseaded in 1998 in arcades and 1999 on PlayStation, while Street Fighter EX3 ended the series (at least until now) on PS2 in 2000.

The game is a PS4 exclusive, and a beta will be held by the end of the year, with full release scheduled for 2018.

You can check out all the screenshots below, showing gameplay including the UI, on top of the announced characters in different lighting conditions. In case you missed it, you can also watch the trailer.
