Russian developer Dinosaurum Games has been sharing quite a lot of concept artwork about their upcoming PS4 exclusive thriller Without Memory, which is going to be developed using Unreal Engine 4 and is scheduled for release in 2016.

Today they released two more pieces of artwork showcasing a police officer named Michael and a few of his tools of the trade. Unfortunately the explanation of each piece is in Russian, and I don't speak a word of it, so most of us will have to be content with checking out the pictures, that you can find at the bottom of the post.

The developer also shared a few more details about the game itself:

  • The game will have various difficulty levels.
  • It's aimed at core gamers, targeting a mature rating (18+ in Russia).
  • It will use motion capture for animation. We'll see the first examples of that in the Summer.
  • It's too early to tell how long the story will last.

While it's very early to judge the true potential of the game, the concepts at its base are definitely interesting, especially the promise to truly allow every action by the player to influence the plot and the outcome of the story. Will Dinosaurum manage where many others have failed? We'll see in two years.
