Today Sega released the first demo of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, that will launch this winter exclusively for PS4. You probably noticed that I said “first,” because the publisher announced via press release that a second is coming.
To be more precise, it’s scheduled to release on PS4 this summer, titled Battle Trial Version Ver. 2.0, and it will be based on the feedback provided by those who are playing the first demo.
If you have version 1.0, in order to provide feedback you can respond to a survey at the address indicated in the box of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, or accessible via the “Overview” area of the demo’s tile on PS4. Unsurprisingly, it’s in Japanese.
The demo is actually a whole lot of fun, but it includes areas that can definitely be improved. The fact that Sega aims to release a second demo based on feedback appears to show that they really want to make the return of the Valkyria franchise a success.
At the moment it’s unknown whether the second demo will be accessible to everyone, or only to those who already have access to the first.
