Today the Yakuza series 10th anniversary event was held in Tokyo, and Sega introduced a trailer of Yakuza 6 (Ryu Ga Gotoku 6, which is still a tentative name). While the trailer still hasn't been published, and the event was not livestreamed, Japanese sites Gamer and Dengeki Online published some off-screen snapshots.

According to Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi, who introduced the trailer, the visuals are 6-7% complete, and there will be plenty of room for improvement. On top of that, one of the themes of the game will be "freedom," including freedom of movement without boundaries unprecedented in the series.

There are also several areas of the game in which new technologies will be used and animation will be better and more life-like than in previous Yakuza games.

While we wait for the trailer, and more information, you can check the snapshots out below.
