Yakuza 6 is coming next fall, finally marking the full jump of the Ryu Ga Gotoku series to the current generation, leaving the PS3 behind.
So far we have seen just a small clip featuring popular Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano, but more is coming. The first video of the game will appear during a tenth anniversary celebration to be held in Tokyo on December 12th.
The celebration will also include footage from Yakuza‘s remake Yakuza: Kiwami for PS3 and PS4, and will see the presence of the series’ creator Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama, alongside with the voice actors of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima.
The event will be held at 3 PM local time and repeated at 6 PM at the popular UDX Theater in Akihabara. If you’re around Tokyo at that time and want to participate, you can fill this form.
The press release did not mention when and if the video will be released on YouTube, but Sega normally makes this kind of content public a couple of weeks afterwards.
