During an event at the UDX Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo, Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi announced the Japanese release date of the upcoming chapter of the Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) series, Yakuza 6.

The game will launch in Japan on December 8th, exclusively for PS4, while there is no word for now on a western release.

On top of the release date, we also get the full title of the game, which is named “Ryu Ga Gotoku 6: Inochi no Uta,” which translates as Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.

Incidentally, during the presentation a trailer was also showcased, including the mention that this will be “the final chapter of the legend of Kazuma Kiryu.”
