PS4 Gets Another Awesome Dynamic Theme by Truant Pixel: Solar Winds – Screenshots/Videos Inside

Truant Pixel is probably the most creative PS4 theme developer out there, and today they released a new dynamic theme, named Solar Winds.

“‘Solar Winds’ features fully dynamic 3-D elements in a scripted sequence that plays out over the course of several minutes. A filtered view of the sun fills your screen as a churning inferno boils across its surface. Solar flares and coronal mass ejections erupt from its perimeter at random intervals, as our perspective gradually pans in closer. Mercury’s passing is highlighted, accompanied by chromatic shifts and aperture changes designed to recreate the effects seen in actual stellar photography. Additional angles of the sun’s surface are included, accompanied by a somber electronic score.”

The theme looks really fantastic, and can be found on the North American PSN for $1.99.

Below you can find a gallery of screenshots, a quick video directly from my PS4 to show you how it looks with actual game tiles on top, and an official video directly from Truant Pixel, showing more of the camera angles available.
