If you love Tokyo Xanadu, the Japanese PlayStation Store has a new and rather charming treat in the form of a free PS4 theme dedicated to the game.

It can be downloaded here, and it's free. The only caveat is that it'll be available only until April 20th, as it's been released to celebrate the Japanese cherry blossom (sakura) season.

As usual, you'll need to open the link with a Japanese account logged in, or in an incognito window, or it won't work. You also need a Japanese account to download the theme (but they're easy to make via the web interface nowadays). Once you downloaded it, it will work on any account, provided that your PS4 is set to primary for it and for the Japanese account as well.

While the theme is static, it comes with a lovely background music from the game, and custom icons. You can check it out in video and screenshots below.

Interestingly, there's no PS Vita equivalent, which is quite peculiar considering that the game is a PS Vita exclusive. Could Nihon Falcom be considering a PS4 version? No way to know for now, but I'd buy it, no questions asked.
