Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends is the first PS4 game to use the interactive stream feature, letting the audience watching the game through the console's livestream actually take part in the action, even if in a limited way. Today the publisher detailed how it'll work and released a batch of screenshots of the PS4 version, that you can check out in the gallery at the bottom of the post.

Besides the usual streaming features present in all other games, a number of effects will happen depending on the comments written by the audience. Meat buns to restore health and wine to preserve the Musou gauge may appear, but certain conditions can even increase the number of enemies to kill, letting watchers enjoy the game together with the player.

In the gallery below you can see the new screenshots released today. Koei Tecmo must be quite proud of the fact that the game runs in 1080p  on Sony's new console as Japanese developers rarely release screenshots at that resolution.

The game will be released in the west next spring for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.
