PS4 Offered by Amazon Affiliates at Enormously Inflated Prices After Successful Launch

on November 19, 2013 10:58 AM

The launch of the PS4 has been doubtlessly successful at least from the point of view of raw sales, selling a million units in 24 hours, but now that the dust has settled speculation is kicking in.

Amazon has ran out of stock very, very fast after midnight, and affiliate stores are now selling the console like a luxury commodity, at prices that will make you scratch your chin.

The launch edition of the console is offered at up to $894.99 (224% of the original price), while bundles can reach up to $1,139.99 (254% of the original price).

Will someone really take that pricey bait? All bets are on.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
