The PS4 managed to retain a positive momentum in Japan after the price cut launched on October 1st, and a series of solid weeks brought a new sales milestone.

Today’s Media Create figures, combined with historical data, reveal that the Sony’s console has now sold through to customers over two million units in its home turf. More precisely, 2,005,949 PS4 consoles have found a warm and loving Japanese home.

It’ll be interesting to see if this momentum will continue through the Holidays, that in Japan are a solid shopping season between the end of December and the beginning of January, but so far, so good.
