PS4 System Update 2.50 “Yukimura” Gets First Official Screenshots; Show Zoom, Color Changes and More

on March 12, 2015 1:44 PM

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia sent a press release today with the first batch of official screenshots of update 2.50 “Yukimura.”

The screenshots, which you can see in the gallery below, focus on the new accessibility options introduced by the update.

Respectively, they showcase the ability to zoom on the screen, to invert the screen colors, to increase the size and the thickness of the font on the screen, to increase the contrast of the screen and to redefine the controls on the DualShock 4.

The press release also mentions that the visual changes will only apply to the dashboard, and will not appear when broadcasting a livestream.

Interestingly, while the press release made no mention of it, it also seems that the PlayStation store has been moved among the other apps from its current position on the top bar.
