The Japanese language instruction firm Gaba also does surveys about topics of interest for its customers, and today it published the “2013 survey for business people on the goals for next year and looking back to the past year.”

What’s most interesting is that between the long list of results there’s also a bit of gaming.

As you can see in the chart below, showing the most wanted items for 2014 between business people of different ages, the PS4 ranked third overall with 19.5% of the overall votes, behind a car equipped with a collision avoidance system and generic home electronics, beating by a long shot 4K TVs (13%) and Windows 8.1 (12,9%).

Sony’s New Console actually ranked first between those in their twenties, with a whopping 35.2%, while it’s less popular between those in their fifties, with “only” 10.4 % of the votes.

The survey was conducted via mobile phone between a pool of 1000 businessmen and businesswomen aged between 20 and 59. The time frame was between November 19th and November 22nd.
