Today Media Create released its weekly software and hardware charts related to the period between Obctober 26th and November 1st, and they’re a quite interesting glimpse on last week’s trends on the Japanese market.

Here’s the software chart:

  1. God Eater Resurrection – PS Vita – 125,876
  2. God Eater Resurrection – PS4 – 25,700
  3. Yomawari – PS Vita – 22,472

  7. Super Mario Maker – Wii U – 13,764
  8. Splatoon – Wii U – 11,969
  9. NBA 2K16 – PS4 – 8,707
  10. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – 3DS – 7,679
  11. Halo 5: Guardians – Xbox One – 7,455
  12. Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition – PS Vita – 7,155
  13. PriPara Mezase! Idol: Grand Prix No.1! – 3DS – 6,561
  14. 7th Dragon III Code: VFD – 3DS – 6,224

  17. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 – PS3  – 5,040
  18. Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon – 3DS – 4,923
  19. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – PS4 – 4,100
  20. Pro Baseball Famista Returns – 3DS – 4,026

And here is the hardware chart:

  1. PS4 – 22,104
  2. New 3DS XL – 16,824
  3. PS Vita – 14,366
  4. Wii U – 9,127
  5. New 3DS – 3,559
  6. PS3 – 1,931
  7. 3DS – 988
  8. PS Vita TV – 807
  9. Xbox One – 534
  10. 3DS XL – 509

The PS4 keeps its momentum, and we’re already quite a few weeks after the price cut. Sony’s console inched just above the sales of all the 3DS models combined.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, though, God Eater: Resurrection, that topped the charts, sold a ton more on PS Vita than on PS4, showing once more that the Japanese prefer to play monster hunting games on portables.

Normally, we have to wait for the top 50 on Friday to find the occasional Xbox One game, but this time around Halo 5: Guardians managed where many others failed, dropping in 11th place, with over 7,000 copies sold.
