A couple days ago, Koei Tecmo announced the PS4 version of Uncharted Waters Online: Grand Atlas, a veteran MMORPG for PC and PS3 (currently available in the west on Steam) set in the age of seafaring and exploration.

Today the publisher detailed the differences between the PS4 version (that will run at 1080p) and the old PC version. On PS4 the game will come with dynamic lighting and shadow, and a much increased number of characters on screen. At the moment it hasn't been announced whether the changes will also carry over to the PC version with an update or not.

Below you can see a screenshot comparison between the two versions. And yeah, it won't look that great even with the improvements, but it's still better than nothing. We're talking about a game from 2005, after all.

Uncharted Waters Online: Grand Atlas for PS4 will release in Japan on September 15th. It will require 15 Gigabytes on the PS4's hard disk.
