PS4 Will Surprisingly be Available on the Asian Markets in December 2013

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia made a surprising announcement at its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference. The PS4 will be released on the Asian markets this December.

This surely won’t go down well with many Japanese gamers, that will have to wait for February the 22nd 2014 to get their hands on the console, while their Asian neighbors will be able to purchase it before the end of the year.

The reasons expressed by Sony for the delay in Japan are definitely sound, but will they be enough to placate most local gamers?
