PS4/PS Vita Exclusive Atelier Firis Gets Lovely Direct Feed Screenshots and Artwork

Today Gust released a batch of new screenshots of its upcoming PS4 and PS Vita JRPG Atelier Firis: Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey, that will be released in Japan this Fall.

We get to see more of the alchemy system, and the introduction of two new characters, Firis’ friend and rival alchemist Ilmeria von Leinweber and the stern and serious swordsman Revy Berger.

Ilmeria¬†has a lot of pride and is a sore lore, but she is also a hard worker, and she has a honest attitude. Revy is on a journey to become stronger, and she often sleeps outside. It’s easy to be intimidated by his appearance (really? He looks like the usual bishonen to me), but he’s surprisingly good as household chores.

We also see more of how Firs’ clothes will change according to her environment, and to be more specific, her hot weather outfit.

It’ll be possible to collect materials for alchemy in a variety of ways, from plants, flowers, rocks and more. There will be even rare materials that can be found by exploring every corner of the world.

Last, but not least, we get to see how alchemy will work. We select a recipe (that are created by having new ideas), then we select a catalyst that will draw various lines in the grid. Then we place the materials on the grid, granting various bonuses and properties, depending on color and on the position on the line.

Check them out below.
