Today, Bravely Default developer Silicon Studio announced with a press release that Granzella (that includes the core team who developed the Disaster Report series) and Bandai Namco are using Silicon's game engine Orochi 3 and optics middleware Yebis 3 to create the survival game code named City Shrouded in Shadow for PS4 and PS Vita.

Yebis 3 has been used by Bandai Namco before for projects like Dragonball Xenoverse and Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, and it was also utilized by From Software for Bloodborne and Dark Souls III.

Orochi 3 was used by by Square Enix in the popular arcade game Gunslinger Stratos, while its successor Orochi 4 is being used to develop World of Final Fantasy.
