PS4/PS Vita Exclusive Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Gets New and Sexy Screenshots on Dengeki PlayStation

The latest issue of the Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation had a spread on Dead or Alive 3, and it included a nice batch of screenshots focusing on the game’s cast.

On top of that, Koei Tecmo also sent a press release today including some more gameplay details.

Each girl has two separate values, friednship and satisfaction. When you’re in girl mode (IE: playing one of the girls), the relationship with other girls is governed by the friendship factor. When you’re in owner mode (playing the interim owner of Zack Island) the relationship is governed by their satisfaction level.

When you’re in girl mode, whether a girl will accept a swimsuit as a gift depends more on the swimsuit’s design and on her tastes. Classy girls will tend to shun skimpy bikinis, and gifting them will fail. Raising the friendship level will improve the chances that they will accept a bold swimsuit. However, even becoming friends does not give absolute certainty that they’ll wear it.

In owner mode, the situation changes in a way never seen before in the series. There will be a dialogue scene with the girl, and her icon’s roundel will be pink if she’s happy, blue if she’s moody. If the gift is successful, you will be asked to close your eyes while she changes in front of you. You can decide to take a peek, but she won’t be happy.

Dead or Alive 3 will be released on PS4 and PS Vita on March 24th in Japan and Asia, with the latter version including English subtitles.

As usual, keep in mind that the screenshots below are magazine scans, so they’re not as high in quality as direct feed screenies.
