PS4/PS Vita Exclusive JRPG Ys VIII Gets New Screenshots Showing New Characters on Famitsu

on March 9, 2016 5:21 PM

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu came with an article on Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

The game’s Japanese rease date on PS Vita has been announced, and it’ll be on July 21st. Bad news for those who are waiting for the PS4 version, that has instead been delayed to 2017 compared to the previously mentioned “summer” release window.

We also get the introduction of two new characters, Hyunmel and Ricotta, that will accompany Adol in his adventures. On top of that, we also get another look at the battle system.

Check all the screenshots out below, keeping in mind that they’re not direct feed, so the quality isn’t as high as it could be.
