PS4/PS3/PS Vita Exclusive Dragon Quest Heroes II Gets New Screenshots: New Characters and Monsters

Today Square Enix released a new batch of screenshots of Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End, that will be released in Japan on May 27th.

This time around we meet the rulers of the seven kingdoms in which the continent is divided, and that have been at peace for over a thousand years after a great war. Even in countries governed by humans, there used to be prosperity and coexistence with monsters, yet now war has broken out.

The King of Zebion is the descendant of the great sorcerer who ended the great war of old. He’s also very wise and knowledgeable about the world.

Cesare, is the prince of the desert country of Jaiwar. He’s also a playable character and childhood friend of the protagonists.

The King of Orenka leads a country with a powerful naval and trading tradition, thanks to its massive harbor. The king is a true warrior and a protector of the people. He’s also in friendly terms with Jaiwar.

The Queen of Kretia governs a nation famous for its magic research. She’s the daughter of a famous clan of witches, and she’s a proficient magician herself.

There are also three monster kings that rule over three peaceful nation of monsters: Dalal, Morias and Fenrok.

On top of that, we also get to see a few of the most formidable monsters that we’ll have to face in the game. Check them all out below.
